Eligibility is verified against 501(c)(3) status and each provider’s own criteria. Government entities, schools, most healthcare organizations and political groups are generally excluded, and terms change — Microsoft retired two of its free grants in July 2025. Confirm current terms when you apply. If you are not enrolled, we will walk you through it on the first call whether or not you ever hire us.

He designs and develops the applications, structures the data underneath them and makes sure what gets delivered is reliable enough for staff to depend on every day — with a background in operations and financial process that keeps the build grounded in how the work really runs.

Tyler starts with the business problem. He works between what an organization is trying to accomplish and what the technology has to do to get there — turning operational needs into a scope a development team can actually build, and translating the result back into language a program director can use.

What types of organizations do you work with?
Human-services nonprofits, most often food, shelter, youth and family services organizations with roughly 10 to 100 staff and programs currently tracked on paper or in spreadsheets. We work with organizations in Arizona and Colorado, almost entirely remotely.
Do you only work with nonprofits?
Nonprofits are our focus. It is where our experience is, and it is where the licensing advantages make the most difference to what a project costs.
What if we do not know exactly what we need?
That is the normal starting point and it is not a problem. Bring us the process that hurts most and we will work out what a solution looks like together. You do not need a specification to have the first conversation.
Can you work with our existing technology?
That is usually the plan. We build inside the Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environment you already have and connect to the systems already in place, rather than asking you to replace things that work.
Do we own the application or system you build?
Yes. Your data is yours at all times. Everything we build for you, including custom code, dashboards and documentation, becomes yours at the end of the six-month minimum term, along with a permanent license to the Agape Works tools it runs on. It is written into the agreement, not left to be argued about later.
How long does a typical project take?
Every partnership starts with an assessment, usually finished in the first six weeks. The first working app or dashboard typically follows within the next few months. Larger data cleanup takes longer and depends on the shape of your history. You get a specific timeline in the proposal, before you commit.
Do you provide support after launch?
Yes, and it is the part we care most about. Care and support is $1,000 a month and covers help for your staff, updates, monitoring and a monthly review, with a direct line to us rather than a ticket queue. Consultants who build something and disappear are the problem we started this business to fix.
Can you help us understand Microsoft or Google nonprofit options?
Yes, and we will do it whether or not you hire us. Most organizations we meet qualify for donated or heavily discounted licensing and have never been told. It takes about half an hour on the first call.
What does a project typically cost?
