Your programs deserve better than a clipboard.

Agape Works builds custom applications, automated workflows and reliable data systems for human-services nonprofits — inside the Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace licensing you already qualify for.

The real problem

You are not short on mission. You are short on hours.

The quarterly report takes a week.

Three staff, a shared drive and a lot of counting by hand — for numbers your system should already know.

The same client exists four times.

Once on a clipboard, once in a spreadsheet, once in someone’s inbox, once in a program director’s memory.

Nobody can answer “how many did we serve last month?”

Not because nobody knows. Because the answer takes two days to assemble and it is already out of date.

None of that is a staffing problem. It is a systems problem, and systems problems can be fixed.

What we build

Practical systems, built on the licensing you already have.

Microsoft and Google both donate or deeply discount their platforms to qualifying nonprofits. Most organizations we meet are paying for tools they never turned on. We build inside those, so there is no new subscription to defend to your board.

01

Custom applications

Intake, case notes, attendance, volunteer hours, inventory. Replace the clipboard with a form your staff can finish between clients.

02

Workflow automation

The reminders, approvals and handoffs nobody has time to chase — running whether or not anyone remembers.

03

Data organization

Years of spreadsheets consolidated into one source of truth that stays consistent as staff turn over.

04

Reporting for funders

Pull outcome numbers in a click instead of a weekend. This is usually the reason people call us first.

05

Guides and recordings

Written documentation and short screen recordings your team can rewatch, so knowledge does not walk out with one person.

06

Maintenance

Programs change, grants change, staff change. Your systems get updated to match instead of quietly going stale.

The cost of paper

Put a number on the hours you are losing.

Move the sliders to match your organization. This only counts data entry — not the reporting weekends.

150

Intakes, visits, case notes, meals served, volunteer shifts.

6 min

Include the second entry — where paper gets typed into a spreadsheet later.

$28

Wage plus benefits and payroll taxes, roughly.

0

staff hours a year spent recording work that already happened.

On data entry today 780 hrs
What a build aims to give back 546 hrs

What today’s hours cost you$21,840

The arithmetic, in full
Hours a year on data entry
150 × 6 min ÷ 60 × 52 weeks = 780 hrs
What those hours cost
780 hrs × $28 = $21,840
What a build aims to give back
780 hrs × 70% = 546 hrs

Fifty-two weeks, no holiday adjustment. The 70% is the reduction we target when a paper or spreadsheet process moves into an app; it is not a guarantee, and it is the only assumption here we did not get from you.

A planning estimate, not a quote. Your real number depends on your programs and how much cleanup the history needs.

Money already on the table

Most nonprofits we meet have never claimed the software they are entitled to.

Microsoft and Google both donate their platforms to qualifying charitable organizations. This is not a discount you negotiate. It is a grant you apply for.

Free tier available

Eligibility is verified against 501(c)(3) status and Microsoft’s own criteria. Government entities, schools, most healthcare organizations and political groups are generally excluded, and terms change — Microsoft retired two of its free grants in July 2025. Confirm current terms when you apply.

If you are not enrolled, we will walk you through the application on the first call. It takes about half an hour, and we will do it whether or not you ever hire us.

How it works

You see a working version before you spend anything.

The scope, the pricing model and the number are all agreed in writing before a line of it gets built.

A prototype you can click

Written scope, timeline and price, delivered alongside a working prototype built from your real process. The prototype is part of the proposal, not a separate paid phase.

Part of the proposal

The build

Built in your Microsoft or Google environment, on your licensing, with your permissions model. You see it as it comes together rather than at the end.

Timeline set in your scope

Handover

Written guides and short screen recordings left in your environment, so the next hire can find them in six months without calling us.

Before we call it done

We stay

Ongoing support under whatever arrangement fits, most often a monthly maintenance agreement. Consultants who build something impressive and then disappear are the problem we started this business to fix.

Ongoing
Pricing and ownership

You will know the model and the number before anyone starts building.

We will not publish a price list, because a number invented before we have seen your process would be fiction. Here is how it gets made instead.

One time

The build

A single fixed price covering the whole project, agreed in writing before work begins. It does not move unless you ask for something new.

  • Discovery and process mapping
  • The working prototype in your proposal
  • The build itself, in your environment
  • Migrating and cleaning up your existing data
  • Written guides and screen recordings

Monthly

Staying on

One flat rate that keeps the system alive as your programs change. No per-request charges and no clock to watch.

  • Fixes, changes and new fields
  • New reports as funders change their forms
  • Questions from your staff, answered directly
  • Platform updates handled before they break something
  • A periodic review of whether it still fits

Your data is yours

Every record your organization creates belongs to your organization, without qualification, and lives in your own Microsoft or Google environment rather than on a platform we control.

Your build is yours

The applications and documentation we deliver for you are set out as yours in the agreement, explicitly, rather than left to be argued about later.

No surprises

The price, the scope and what happens if the scope changes are all settled in writing before the first thing gets built. You will never receive an invoice you did not expect.

What the number accounts for: how complex the work is, how many people will use it, what it has to connect to, the timeline you need, and what your organization can realistically afford. We will tell you which of those is driving yours.

Who we are

Two founders, one team, and a shared commitment to building what matters.

We bring together two MBAs, more than seven years of experience each, and perspectives from both sides of the table. We have worked with organizations solving complex problems, and we have built solutions ourselves. That means we understand what it is like to identify a need, define a vision, and turn it into something that actually works.

From development and technology to strategy and client relationships, we bring complementary strengths to every project. You will not just work with a vendor. You will work with two people who are invested in helping you build something meaningful.

Questions we get

The things people ask before they call.

If yours is not here, ask it directly.

How do you charge?

A single fixed price for the build, then one flat monthly rate for ongoing support. Both are agreed in writing before anything gets built, so you are never billed for time you did not plan for and there is no clock running in the background. If the scope changes, we tell you what it does to the number before we act on it.

Do we have to buy new software?

Usually not. Microsoft and Google both donate or deeply discount their platforms to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations, and most of what we build runs inside that grant. If a project genuinely needs something extra, you will hear that before you commit.

Do you do general IT, or dashboards?

Neither, today. General IT — hardware, Wi-Fi, printers, help desk — along with cybersecurity and 24/7 support are excluded from what this company offers. Power BI dashboards are a service line we are considering rather than one we currently provide. We would rather say that than learn on your budget.

You are a two-person shop. What happens if one of you disappears?

Everything lives in your environment on platforms Microsoft and Google maintain, not on anything proprietary to us, and the documentation stays with you. Any competent Power Platform or AppSheet developer can pick up the work. Clients belong to the company rather than to either of us individually.

Our data is a mess. Is that a problem?

It is the normal starting condition, and it is most of what we do. What we need is a look at the real thing rather than a cleaned-up version — the mess tells us how the work actually happens.

Tell us what is broken.

Describe the process costing your team the most time. We will tell you honestly whether it is something we can fix — and if it is not, who should.

What is eating the most time right now?

Roughly how many staff?

Where does your team work today?
